My biggest treasure is my family,  My son is the angel of our lives, he is a very special child.  He was born with Tetralogy of Fallot. This is a complex congenital heart defect that  is present at birth.

There are four heart defects that lead to a reduced blood flow to the Lungs and the mixing of oxygen-rich and oxygen-poor blood in the heart.  Together, these defects mean that the body does not receive enough oxygen-rich blood.  Thus, the child's skin, lips, fingernails and tongue often have a bluish tint (cyanosis or blue baby when occurring in infants).  This tint is especially noticeable after exertion ( for babies this is most often during feeding time). 

Our Son Nik has had surgery for his defect and has come out a Champion.  Nik has had hearing loss since the surgery and now has to wear hearing aides to help out.  He has a beautiful tone of voice yet very understandable with the new aides.  Nik has severe leakage in his heart.  We found out just recently that this must be corrected.   He has ben diagnosed with a cancer and have had it removed at the huntsmen institute.  They removed it and hoping and praying we will not see anymore. Nik 2 weeks after had his second major heary surgery to replace the pulmonary valve.  Took about 9 hours and some complications.  Nik can always use any prayers and thoughts.  Nik was invited to Make-A-Wish and was granted a trip to Orlando Florida to see All the theme parks and fast pass rides he wants.  We stayed at Give Kids The World Village  Here is some photos from our vacation.  Believe me I have lots more as well.  Click Me For Photos
