This is Nik at 4 years old. He has had open heart surgery 7 months after birth. Nik has had his valve replacement and all went well. Now there is a potential prob with a coronary artery. I guess we always new that something would need to be fixed since he had leaking in the heart for sometime. But your never ready for anything when it comes to your kids. Just before his operation my wife wrote this poem and It just seems to touch my heart so much I needed to share it with you.
